Renewable cooling

Natural resources. Greater home comfort.

What is renewable cooling?

Renewable cooling uses natural resources to remove heat. Free cooling can, for example, use cooler outdoor air to carry heat out of a building. Local conditions and the energy demand of the complete system matter.

When can outdoor air cool a home?

When outdoor air is cooler than indoor air, sufficient air exchange can remove heat. Warm outdoor conditions limit this opportunity. Shading and making use of cooler periods work together.

What is the RCS approach?

Renewable Cooling Systems develops retrofit solutions that make natural cooling resources accessible to existing buildings. Our goal is greater home comfort with lower energy demand. We approach cooling through everyday needs: accessibility, retrofit potential and existing homes.

Is RCS available to buy?
